Summer Fun to Help Someone!
Help PWNP kick off summer fun and sign up now for our Kids Helping Kids triathlon June 30th. Please note this is a fun-filled age appropriate experience where everyone’s time is their own personal best! 100% of the proceeds purchase new back to school shoes, clothing and supplies for kids at local MD shelters. A mom of a newborn came to me sharing she was beside herself she didn’t have some very basic baby needs..shampoo, lotion, detergent. She sat there and cried saying she wasn’t sure what to do and her check was not coming until next week. We are a shelter and we do our best however, we are totally dependent on the outside world. I knew the wonderful women of PWNP would truly save the day. And they did..I knew the mom would be able to sleep tonight because her prayers were answered. PWNP is truly a gift from above. You are the answer to a sincere cry for help. You are always there to lend support, listen without judgment and to sincerely make a difference. Thank you for answering not just my prayers, but the prayers and hopes of our families.

Since lunch line falls on Father’s Day, we are serving up a popular treat again of Chick-Fil-A to Grassroots and Pizza’s to Sarah’s Hope in lieu of bagged lunches. Wishing all our dads a very Happy Father’s Day!
